Press Reviews
GOLDEN GOOSE about Ready To Sin: "Some interesting stuff from across the sea! Multi-lingual artists that obviously have some professional musical ability sewn into the Depeche Mode style song structure. Nice vocoder work and a nice rich and DEEP production style". SMOKESTACK STATION about I'll Have A Dream: "From our friends across the pond. Great dance tune and a very nice production". Hidden Sanctuary 3 the electronics unit about Dressed To Sin: "Symphonic eletronics that wrap around a fetish ambience. In some way, the comparison can be made that this band is a cross between Gary Numan and Kraftwerk. Highly original and avant garde." 100% Unnatural - The Synthpop Experience about HYEHARL: "From Russia with Drugs... PJ Harvey and the Nick Cave finish off a bottle of vodka that once belonged to Rasputin, then, in their drunken stupor, sign a record deal with the devil who forces them to record an album with Coil. Perfect listening to calm yourself down after discovering that somebody slipped acid in your Stoli." Bluelife said (info@bluelife.de, received per e-mail 16.11.00): "i'm listening to A song for Autism at the moment - is that depeche mode influence? and the vocoder is cool! - i like it, it's a bit bassy here but it maybe my ns10s. dressed to sin is a bit morbid :( - dark deep down stuff - late at night, drunk in the corner of a dark pub, thinking too much again. I'll have a dream - another depechey sounding song - little suggestion, get a sweet womans voice (girl sounding) to back you on some parts - i think it would sound even cooler!" Music Industry Connections (www.mp3musicscene.com/mic), October issue: "... It certainly is very exciting as a listener to be exposed to the new angles and creative experimentation. There are absolutely no preconceived ideas to Plasma Peleng, no typical structure and as such it really is enjoyable to listen to. It is a bit electronic, a bit pop, a bit odd and quirky, quite eccentric and experimental. If only more artists would through down their preconcepions and develop music in this way then the music charts might acctually begin to get more interesting." Lobotomy Records: There's something warmly 50s about this one. Plasma Peleng is a group from Germany, and I imagine that they were influenced strongly by American music from the golden era. Heroes For A Day is just so Otis Redding. Otis never had the German accent though. SGT. ROCK said: I too like your music Plasma Peleng! I really like Heroes for a Day, sounds like Roy Orbison meets Roxy Music to me!
