Artist description
Cari Eden is the lead singer/songwriter guitarist at the helm of this eclectic progressive band. She surfs the spectrum of music. From a soft, casual coo to a voice to be reckoned with she hammers on a brazen Fender Telecaster. The band could be described as Sheryl Crow with Dave Matthews in a Crowded House on Sundays. This high energy, music is both lyrically and melodically clever. Cari Eden will take you on a graceful stroll through the rock garden of Eden. Drummer,Joe Forrestel, is the cool, shaggy haired, prosthetic parts delivery guy by day and "Joe the ripper" (on the drums) by night. John Metcalf will make you melt with the same soulful Spanish rifts that would make Santana cry in his Margarita. Then you will swoon to the East Indian half-note whaling that pours from his finger tips. Terry Singletary is master of the bass-acopia but has a knack for simplicity. His flirtatious rhythms follow Eden's lilting lyrics with prolific precision. |

Artist History
In the beginning there was Cari Eden. In an atempt to explore the more agressive side of her nature she contacted some old friends in the music business. John and Terry played for the Furys, a local rock-a-billy band. They has been looking for an original creative outlet for quite some time. Mike was banging away on the drums in his own studio and was contacted by a mutual friend. When they all came together for the first time there was an instant chemistry that only happens when you have all the right elements. |
