Press Reviews
None handy at the moment but here's a brief synopsis: Massive Ferguson took to the stage as the sparse crowd gazed wistfully at their respective beers. Henry Hofer pulled his handmade cap snugly onto his (powerful) cranium as his flying V emitted shrieks & squeals of paint peeling feedback. Harry Hofer squatted behind his drum kit, a kit seemingly bastardized from an assortment of many, cheap ass drums. Pickles, formerly Pickles the Clown tears off his shirt(?) as he strides to his bass cabinet and bumps the knobs gently to 11, periodically checking to make certain that his distortion pedal is set to a sufficiently nasty tone. A four count punches through the walls of feedback and Massive ferguson lurch into the first song of their set as the sound man struggles to respond to the dropped C riffs slowly pulverizing the PA. One guy looks up from his Molson Canadian, "Hey... hutterites..." he manages to say before his mind drifts to other more important thoughts like how in the hell am I gonna stop this fluid coming outta my ear? http://www.ucalgary.ca/UofC/students/VOX/Features/ferguson.htm |
