Artist History Singers/guitarists Aren Skalman and Kirk Nelson began collaborating six years ago. Jamie Curcie has served as Mabel Blaster's lead vocalist for two years. We have been playing San Diego venues for two years, including shows at The Belly Up Tavern, The Casbah, Brick by Brick, and Dreamstreet. The recent addition of a new rhythm section including Matt Pawluk on drums and Sean Lawson on bass has taken Mabel Blaster in a new direction, and recharged our sound.
