Jones Crusher is a confident and creative original three piece garage/punk band, with a strong appreciation of underground music. One would be hard pressed to find a better punk/garage styled guitarist with the skill and dexterity of Sean Sanders.

Artist History WHO IS JONES CRUSHER?Two of the three members are from the New York area and have played in original, experienced bands, that have performed throughout the New York area, with the third imported from Ireland (the legend says the lad stowed away on a freighter amoung the Guiness kegs dreaming of coming to America to join a punk rock trio)Sean Sanders who sings lead vocals and Danny Heltz who plays drums grew up together in Bethpage, New York (Long Island). Sean has played in numerous area punk and hardcore bands (such as Lukewarm Enema) and has played for years with Danny in such bands as Ground Zero, Reign of Angels, New Lotts Avenue, the latter which would become the proto-Jones Crusher line-up. New to the band is Gary Keogh on bass, of the boat straight outta of Dublin Ireland. His likes are music and beer (not necessarily in any particular order). His played techno drug music in a band called Spacehopper for years back in his native homeland. Now Gary completes the punk triad known as JONES CRUSHER!!!

Press Reviews Reviewer: Designated Dale, Flipside... Jones Crusher remind me of a heavier Dead Kennedys in a sense, especially on their banging number, "Get Off The Grass," which is actually a pretty funny song. "Hey kids you better get off the grass/I have a size 12 shoe I'm gonna stick it up your ass." Every single one of us can remember that uptight prick of a neighbor on our block growing up. The Jones boys also let loose with some heated versions of The Buzzcocks "What Do I Get?" and Wall Of Voodoo's "Mexican Radio."/////// Reviewer: From Under The Volcano... These guys are what Long Island needed! This is the only Rock n Roll band from Long Island. Mix some good old fashioned Rock n Roll, a little Ramones, and a whole lot of attitude and you've got yourself Jones Crusher. This 10 song CD also includes a Buzzcocks cover and a Wall Of Voodoo song. Buy this. It's cheap and great. This may be LI's best band. I love it.
