Artist History
Preacher has been performing throughout the US and Canada for over 40 years. He got his start playing with the Traveling Four in the very early 50's. From there he worked with the Centuries along with Tony Harris & Billy Marshell.Over the years Preacher Ellis worked as guitarist for Big Mama Thornton and Little Joe Blue. He has appeared in concert with B B King,Bobby Bland, Little Milton, Lowell Fulson, Bo Diddley,and many others.His life story can be read in REAL BLUES magazineJune/July '98 issue 13 and August/September '98 issue 14 (Two Parts). |
