Artist History
Harold Lee began his piano studies at an early age with Phoebe Huang. Continuing his studies in the United States, Lee earned degrees in both biology and music at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. In 1977, he was awarded a fellowship at Eastern Michigan University where he completed a M.A. in piano performance. Additional graduate work was done at the University of Michigan under the guidance of Theodore Lettvin. He has performed widely with such American groups as the Waverly Symphony Orchestra, the Eastern Michigan Civic Orchestra, and the Interlochen University Orchestra. He has given many recitals in the the U.S., Hongkong, Taiwan, China, and Malaysia. Lee has served on the music faculty of Eastern Michigan University, in addition to those of Washtenaw Community College, and the Baptist College of Hongkong. Lee currently operates his own full-service music shop in Arcadia, California. |
