Artist History
Folly's Pool was one of the top rock bands playing northern and central California in the late 1970's early 80's. They played with a variety of acts including James Taylor, Judas Priest, Kanasas, Bonnie Raitt, Tom Petty, and BeBop DeLuxe.
While their first album sold well in Europe, it never caught on in the states. Playing constantly in clubs such as the Troubador, Smokey Mountain, Catalyst, and the Wild Blue Yonder, they developed quite a following and a well defined sound.
They nightly payed over 4 hours of original music in clubs that catered to the popular cover tunes. Yet they drew crowds.
The band is currently digging through the archives of live material from radio broadcasts to meet the demand of those fans. |
