Artist description
It seems now that six midwestern gentlemen of somewhat indetermined origin might join together first, shall we say, as mates, and then, after fumbling about a bit, come to discover some thing they could call holy and good; something unaffected by advertising, the music business, and the giant maw of mind-numbing corporations. Now casting disrepute upon all doubters and skeptics everywhere, comes the documentation of the labours, thus far, of these lovable scruffs, these likeable imperfect chums, these rowdymeisters who have now unleashed upon the unsuspecting citizens the product that will make a grateful nation raise a toast to all that it might hope to stand for -- The Elders' are here now. Play it loud. |

Artist History
Two cells became four. Four became sixteen. It grew legs. It grew fins and crawled back into the green sea and under the rock from which it came until it sprang from nature fully-formed,ready to walk upright with the other spinal creatures who also sought out the music that was righteous and lasting. Trancending fashion and flawless in design, the stuff spewed forth that not only had no expiration date and the shelf life of the sun, but was also nutritious, less filling and tasted great. They rocked the world - yours, mine and ours - and formed the ties that bind the four winds, the four corners of the earth, the four walls and the four horsemen of the apocalypse; soon they attracted wild capacity crowds that danced a crazed emerald jig to the unholy racket that poured forth from the souls of these tragically flawed but collectively perfect men among boys who have now sent forth the challenge to the uninitiated, the bored, the downtrodden, the huddled masses of unimpressed nightclubbers everywhere as one of the greatest machines ever assembled; that which can inspire and remind you, brothers and sisters, that indeed you might still have a heart and yes, maybe even a soul. They are the Elders. See them now. |
