Artist History For me, it's all about the combination of music and technology. I've been playing piano and keyboards on and off for most of my life. In 1982, I somehow talked my mom into buying me a Roland Juno 6 for my birthday. I added other equipment over the next 8 years, but eventually I sold the whole lot to a friend and got away from music. It wasn't until '97 that I picked up my music again... I've built a new studio and have been "noodling around" (just ask my roommate) ever since. When I write, I tend to just start playing and see what happens. With the advent of hard disk recorders, it's easy (and cheap) for me to just roll the recoder while I experiment. If nothing interesting happens, I can just requeue and try again unitl I get a "keeper".
