Press Reviews
Mad Hannans Go GuinnessThe Mad Hannans, who started out playing their quirky pub rock in Marin coffee houses and bars, are moving up in the world. Sunday, they'll be on the main stage at Guinness Fleadh (pronounced "flah"), the huge Irish outdoor festival at Spartan Stadium in San Jose. The Mad Hannans, brothers Jerry and Sean Hannan and bassist Troy Henry, won a slot on the prestigious show by beating out 41 other bands in a contest at the Justice League nightclub in San Francisco. In addition to winning the gig, the biggest break of their career, they also took home a brand new Gibson Les Paul guitar. |
