Artist History About the artist: Iman (Nowel) Shabazz a.k.a. SCOTT RUCKUS Name: Rodney Scott Date of birth: Aug. 5th 1975 Place of birth: Oklahoma City At the age of five Rodney Scott began singing in a Baptist Church. Eight years later he discovered Rap and listened to artists like KRS ONE (BDP), Curtis Blow, Furious Five, Fat Boys, Grandmaster Flash, Evil- E, Cool Moe Dee. R. Scott started performing with his cousin and a friend the "Cliff Hoppers" in 1990. They took place in various gigs including breakdance performances which made them become the opening act for Jesse Jacksons tour. After his graduation from Highschool in 1994 R.Scott moved to Chicago, Illinois where he also took part in numerous Freestyle events. 1995 he joined the US-Army as a cook and was Boy- RD. R. Scott left the Army in 1998 and went back to the states for one year. Coming back to Germany he met the Producers Wicked Wizard and Shaun Stinner (Dirk and Joern Holpart) who he has been working with ever since.
