Artist description
Kevin Ostmo and Jake Stroh started the Razor Burns (A.K.A. Thoze Incredible Razor Burns) back in 1992 as an experiment in two very different music styles. Eight years later the Razor Burns have proven that they can blend their musical styles and write some real catchy tunes. You can easily find yourself humming the melodies of the Razor Burns after a few listens. The band is currently supporting their latest CD: "Dead End Sunday". It is a collection of 19 songs that the band claims is 19 attempts at a pop song. Keep in mind that they also have an interesting sense of humor too.Check out their website: www.genuinespiral.com |

Group Members
Jake Stroh: With his background in Audio engineering and music, he knew that the Razor Burns would be an interesting project to move forward on. Jake started in Punk style music and has branced out from there.Kevin Ostmo: Has a background in graphic design and web design. His musical influences have been the Beatles, Elvis Costello, and Leo Kottke. He approaches his music in the way a graphic designer would go about a project. He and Jake both love taking a concept and seeing what the other adds in the writing process. Their ability to write so well together shows in the music they write. |
