Artist description LSDJ is one Man with a PC running Pro-Tools in a killer home studio, a Gibson jazz guitar, acoustic bass & B3 Organ, some great inspiration & a fierce sense of musicality. All music (w/ the exception of some eastern forms), is comprised of twelve tones arranged rythmically... I take aural snapshots of those twelve tones & the world around me & translate it into beauty...

Artist History I've been making groovy noises all my life.... LSDJ began as my moniker to use while on the road as a touring guitar tech (from 1992-1994). I graduated w/ a degree in music in 1996, but found that I did not want to teach. I turned to engineering bands at studios in Seattle & Los Angeles... While there, I learned much about myself & my art... In 1997, I created a song that was picked up by TV France for a documentary on the perils of heroin abuse in the inner-city of Paris. It featured samples of Stan Getz on saxophone, Stanley Turrentine on drums & Miroslav Vitous on bass. I now reside in the chilly, high sierra of Reno, NV & produce dope cuts everyday...
