Artist History Joey Love hit the Texas Music Scene in 1995 forming the Blues Xpress and to date as two independent CD's released. Their talents have included them on a few compilation CD's, one for KNON 89.3FM radio here in Dallas, TX and also on a compilation CD that was distributed with the October 2000 issue of SPIN magazine. They have performed a variety of major events including the Dallas Montage Festival at Artist Square, The Blind Lemon Jefferson Blues Festival in Wortham, TX, the Deep Ellum Main Street Festival, and a multitude of other music festivals and venues around the area. Appearances have also included, KDFW Fox 4's Good Day Dallas morning show, opening for a variety of touring acts, and have traveled the state performing at clubs and private functions. Currently the band is receiving local video airtime on KSTR Channel 21 "Da Blues" programming.
