Artist description
The album "The Real McGraw" presents a blend of songs about real life in the swamps and the woods of Florida, an album about Jim's life and his opinions about all those things that shape our lifes, from Love, the good times and the heartbreaks, Drinking, Women, religion and politics.Being an uncompromising singer-songwriter who does not like to be labeled, he can never really settle on a genre, floating effortlessly from roots-rock to country to blues to rock 'n' roll, which makes every song on the album an exciting new experience and make you want to listen to each and every song without skipping. The politically correct listener might be shocked from time to time, but on the brighter side Jim gives the listener some things to think about. Just as hard as it is to stick a musical label on Jim's music it is tough to classify his lyrics. While not rude he is firm, he has the talent to seperate the wrong from the right in a simplistic common sense way, he's peacefull but can also be venomous. He's spiritual but hates the idea to come near a church, with all due respect to the animal rights organisations, he claims that his favorite gator is a grilled one, he's a chainsmoker and loves beer............he's "The Real McGraw". |
