Artist History Harsh Reality CA was founded by Howard Power as a speed metal band.....after the first Harsh Reality CA CD was released by SKYCLAD RECORDS, Mr. Power replaced several members of the band with talent based in the Hard Rock area of music....Mitch Rice and Michael Wilferd became the main song writing force and two more CD'S were released before Mr. Power passed away....the band continued on with Mr. Rice and Mr. Wilferd at the helm...these two rockers had been together writing songs and performing in the LA club scene for close to 20 years....the boys are still at it with their new CD CEMETERY....just listen and get ready to ROCK!

Press Reviews HARSH REALITY CA originated as a three piece off the wall punk band Releasing 2 CD’s (HARSH REALITY & BLACK DAHLIA) on the Independent Label SKYCLAD RECORDS. Drummer Howard Power Replaced the guitarist and the bass player with Don Seymore and Roy Livingstone and then acquired Mike Wilferd as lead vocalist The music developed into a more R&R Blues sound. They recorded A CD titled VICE VERSA released by the independent SKREAMING SKULL RECORDS. Shortly after the release of the CD, Mitch Rice Replaced guitarist Don Seymore in support of the CD. They played Throughout Southern California in support of the CD, including Opening for Foghat and an appearance on a local cable TV show Johnny Roberts Interview.
