    Artist History
drop thud oops is a trio from Northwestern New Jersey, best known for their uncanny ability to combine melodic, well written tunes with jaw-dropping technical virtuosity. This seldom achieved fusion of funk, jazz, and blues-based rock is turning heads, raising eyebrows, and breaking wind like no others.Originally formed in 1994, the boys played countless local venues, Manhattan clubs, backyard barbecue beer bashes and supermarket/concert parking lots before getting signed to ASi Music Group in 1998. The subsequent release of their first full length album, beep beep boom, saw drop thud oops finally start to achieve long awaited recognition.

    Press Reviews
"beep beep boom combines many different grooves and feels (jazz, blues, funk, ska & a slight 70's twinge). These different grooves are combined especially well on "Spun and Arbor Day". Another high point can be heard on the mellowed-Goldfinger/Greenday vibe on "Dough". An interesting song, "Phrygian Waltz", where a jazzy opening gives way to bouts of blues & funk" ~ Music Head Magazine
