Artist History I've been making synth music since 1986, but I've been under the name Clockwork Project since 1995.The idea of the name came from an interview of Vince Clarke in Keyboard magazine ("I like music that sounds like clockwork.") I was also in a band called Mind Machine that got some Los Angeles radio exposure in the early 90's.
