Artist History
Steve Hammond formed Typhoid Mary in September of 1988 during a long distance telephone call while living in Milwaukee. Steve moved back to Akron within days of forming Typhoid Mary. A radio disc jockey by trade, Typhoid Mary has moved as Steve's career dictates. Besides Akron, the band has also been based out of Youngstown, Columbus, and St. Louis. Another career change has recently returned Typhoid Mary to Akron, Ohio. |

Founding member Steve Hammond is currently the only member of Typhoid Mary. He plans to re-form the band in the very near future. |
