Artist description
Trapfly is Jim Asselin (I write, play and record all words and music, except drums) and, on the album playing drums, Ryan Krumel. When I play live, Iuse different musicians to play the other instuments, while I stick to playing my acoustic and singing. I like to write from experience,I think it's a good way to keep things from stressing you out. The DAM CD for sale includes all11 songs from my album "Entropia", plus one previouslyunreleased bonus track for the mp3.com edition. And be sure to check out the Trapfly Homepage by clicking on the picture above. It's pretty cool! |

Artist History
Started in 1995, just to record songs and play a fewshows. I started out as a solo acoustic artist, andI think my sound still reflects that, although I like to mixthe acoustic guitar with some heavy electric sounds. I let my songwriting slide for about a year, until recently, when I became interested in the possibilities ofthe mp3 format. |

Press Reviews
"Trapfly seem to continue the Noise Pop experiments of Swell Maps. They subject catchy Kinks-ish songs to massive amounts of radioactive noise, creating mutant hooks almost entirely effaced by feedback. Nevertheless, the songs are still catchy at their core." –Listen.com |
