Artist History
TOTAL DEATH, an Ecuadorian band, begans at 1991, at first theyplayed Grind-Death then the band had some gigs between 1992 and 1993.The main band's problem was the continuous change of bass players so the group couldn't continue; only with two of the core members theydidn't play in live concerts. In the course of this time the band gota new musical style leaving aside the generic Death Metal ideas androuting their music to the expression of their darkest feelings andemotions, generating music with melancholic, melodic and emotionalstructures, slow and heavy riffs but they kept the true Death Metalbase. At the end of the 1994 year the band has a new member(bass player) and with him they have the more relevant gigs in 1995. In 1996 the band mix with big bands like Cenotaph (Mex.) and Neurosis(Col.) in Quito (Ecuador). After that a guitar player get in to theband and subsequently the keyboards. They have played with the DeathMetal band Master (USA) in Quito (Ecuador) in 1998. Actually theline up band is solid so they have released "El Rostro que llevamos dentro" Cd, 11 tracks of pure melancholic and emotional metal. You have to listen it!!!!!
