Artist History
The band formed in 1992 when bassist Neil Odell and drummer
Chip Morrow met singer Kiki Parry at the Melody Bar in
New Brunswick NJ, a favorite hangout for the group. Their
first show was at that very same bar where they actually
paid the bar to play there. The response was overwhelming
and since then they have been one of central New Jersey's
most popular bands. The band rounded out it's current line up
with guitarist/vocalist Jo Coopersmith in 1994. The band performs regularly in the NY,
NJ, PA area with regular shows at CBGBs (NYC) and the Khyber
in Philadelphia in addition to colleges and
universities in the northeast. The band has released
3 CDs: 'Crush You' released in 1994, 'Some Days EP'
in 1996 and a re-issue of that same CD in 1998 entitled
'Some Days 98' that included 9 additional songs.
A national radio promotion of the original 'Some Days'
release in 1997 found the band charting on over
150 college and alternative radio stations across
the country. In March, 1999 the band released 5
new songs under the title 'See Your Star' currently
available only in MP3 format on their web site and
other music sites, including MP3.COM. |
