Press Reviews
Here's a great idea! Remember the old-time 15 minute "live" Country Music radio programs that graced the airwaves in rural America during the '30s '40s and early '50s? Well, I don't, but now I can hear it "each and every hour of each and every day" in cyberspace at www.radioyur.com. Friends and neighbors, “The KingPup Radio Hour” is on the air, brought to you by KingPup Hotdogs (“If its a KingPup hot dog - its a royal wiener).
Veteran radio hosts Phil & Gaye Johnson have assembled a great acoustic Country / Bluegrass band called , what else “The KingPup Radio Hour” They are bringing together the Acoustic music scene by presenting lesser known “regional” artists in their “small time opry” format complete with a live audience. These regional artists have always been the backbone of Country Music here in America and now they can gain worldwide exposure. I’m all for that!
If you are an Acoustic Music artist, you can be a part of the fun by being a guest of the show. Check it out at www.radioyur.com. ......... Southern Expressions Magazine November, 1998
