Press Reviews
Santa Fe Reporter --Starsky (is the name ersatz Lithuanian, or merely campy television?) is apopish, power-chorded punk band in the tradition of Big Star and\or The Replacemats. Their mostrecent studio recordings - including a grinding "What's Sown," the mock-sentimental "NoBanyon" and the catchy "Rollercoaster Girl" - reveal a practiced, polishedgroup with a deceptively casual sound. |
