Artist History
Greg Strickland is a thirty-three year old singer/
songwriter from Seattle, Washington. Greg has
been playing bass guitar for twenty years. Once
purely a rock bassist, Greg has expanded into the
role of an all around musician; singing, playing
guitar and piano. Over the last ten years he has
been concentrating his efforts on writing,
recording and producing original compositions.
In 1994, Greg starting building the Virtual Image
studio to support the documentation of his work.
His latest CD, Teal Blue Sea, a collection of
adult-contemporary, rock and folk songs, is the
first release from this studio.
Greg performs all of the guitar and bass tracks
as well as most of the piano tracks on this CD.
His lower register vocals have been described as
a combination of Chris Isaak, Michael Penn and
Neil Finn of Crowded House.
Joining Greg with programming on four of the
tracks is local Seattle studio drummer Chris G.
Chris G is also credited with writing Bye Bye Twenty-Seven, the final cut on the CD.
Greg is currently working on material for his
second release. Due out in late 1999.
