Artist History
Formed in 1997, Chain Poets hit the Atlanta club scene with a combination of great songs, high energy and incredible musicianship. The band released a 4-song EP in late 1998 that received substantial radio airplay in Atlanta and Athens. In August 1999 Chain Poets attracted more interest when they showcased at the Atlantis Music Conference. The band released its first album 'Chain Poets' in March 2000. They have since showcased at CMJ, were featured on CNN and in the Wall Street Journal, were one of the first bands signed to the Garageband Records label, and recorded songs for the "I Am Sam" soundtrack. The band's most recent news is an endorsement from Jagermeister. |
