Artist description The Z-Heads (pronounced Zed-Heads!) is a hyperactive group of musicians that live music in general and every way possible. Except being a "dance artist", we are all instrumentalists and perform as a band in local events a lot. We play mostly funk, fusion and Jazz. All the compositions are mainly the mastermind of our genius 13 year old keyboardist JACK, that keeps amazing everyone with his playing and composition skills. "Z-HEADS" as a band is an outlet for our passion for electronic music. Even though we play our instruments and love it, for a few years now we've been in the scene with our dance tracks. They are versatile is styles - we don't like to be locked in to one form of music - and interesting as musical pieces... At least we think so. At the local scene what keeps amazing people is Jack - this phenomenal 13 year old is programming serious electronic tracks from back when he was 11, and does it not one bit worse then the rest of us (sometimes even better). You gotta hear his compositions, they are truly special.

Artist History We formed about two years ago when Jay decided to connect with Ziev (who is his best friend) and do tracks together. Soon, he also brought Jack and Mark (who are his cousins) into this and we took off. A little time after that we also formed our live band - when we were joined by the drummer Danny Alonny, and started playing gigs. That's about it. I'll just add that with time our technique as an electronic band progressed considerably and we now produce tracks that are of good quality (sound) and use more professional instruments.
