Artist History
The band formed in 1996 when longtime friends and musical collaborators David Metzner and Kevin Stevens met Hillel Familant through Third Eye Blind's drummer, Brad Hargraves. Originally, the three came together in an effort to explore their love for jazz but soon after discovering Hillel's voice he David began writing together in the music of their time - rock. With the release of their self-titled EP in 1996 the band started to play all over the California coast garnering positive reviews and a large following as well. Three years later, the perennial wish of their fans has become a reality with the arrival of their first full length recording "The Gift of Reason." |
