Artist description
We are a Houston band with an extremely wide range of influences. This permeates through our music, giving us a unique sound for our locale. While punk seems to be all the rage in these parts, we have come out with our own brand of "mellow" rock and roll. |

Artist History
In late 1998, Bernie and Sean first got together just to jam. They both shared a passion for The Church's music and both played guitar. Soon, the jam sessions became a weekly thing. When Bernie and Sean realized that they had stumbled onto a good formula, they understood the need to turn this "jam" into a full fledged band, so in May of 1999, they approached Scott to play bass with them. Since Scott already knew their musical tastes, he eagerly agreed. After a few months of a trio (and several open mic nights at The Mausoleum), the newly named Rosemary Asylum stumbled upon thier drummer, Randy. With his brand new digital drum kit, Randy brought with him a versatility that the band was looking for.Since August of 1999, Rosemary Asylum has been growing musically by leaps and bounds. |
