Press Reviews 8.12.1999, The Antelope Valley Times released new album reviews of local bands, and here is what they had to say about REDLeTTER's album "Relations"...REDLeTTER (Relations) 3 out of 4 stars - Antelope Valley TimesREDLeTTER is the soundtrack to cough syrup-fueled crowd-surfing. A collection of 11 songs darker than late 70's punk, lighter than early 80's goth. Relations is part Nirvana, part Sex Pistols, part undiscovered garage band, and part God-only-knows-what, with glittery edges of Bowie circa Ziggy Stardust. It's the opening act you end up liking more than the headliner. REDLeTTER owes ample props to forefathers like the Ramones, the Cure, and even the Beatles. However, unlike many other punk predecessors, the band's lyrics aren't especially angry or nihilistic.
