Artist History
musical zombies was founded in 1999. it is the latest project of Matthew Bonaccorso, who has spent several years in the Bay Area performing in such bands as Beautiful Son and Laissez Faire. This solo project by Matthew exposes his unique talent for powerful pop songwriting. matthew created musical zombies as a group concept in the mold of such acts as nine inch nails - a group masterminded by one singular artist with collaborative efforts by friends and musicians willing contribute but not manipulate the songwriter’s creations. The musical zombies sound is melodic, lush, and pop-infused. Their songs range from the most vulnerable of ballads to the crunch and push of their compelling rock hymns, a sound amply revealed on their debut EP, SECOND CHANCE. |
