Artist History I come from a musical family. My mother played the piano, my father played the violin. My brothers, Earl, Donald, Ernie, and Johnny started to play guitar. That is when I took a liking to the guitar myself.That was back in the early fifties. I have picked up a lot of styles of playing. Right now, I am learning the styles of Doc Watson, the late Merle Travis, and Chat Atkins.As of today I am still learning those styles of thumb picking and about that style is practice, practice, practice and practice and patience!I am also a band member of the band, The Selah Three.
