Press Reviews
Fictional Prison's Dreamkiller is an excellent slice of technical power metal, with just a hint of progressive metal in places. A logical comparison might be Sanctuary, as the songwriting style is in the same arena and Caine's vocals are similar in style to those of the mighty Warrell Dane, mixing power and the occasional high-pitched yelp to good effect. One good thing about the album is that it doesn't fall into the "every song sounds the same" category like a lot of albums (particularly debuts) do.
