Artist description
A Bay Area native, Emily Wilder is a mesmerizing and powerful performer who has recently been called "one of the most dynamic unsigned female vocalists on the West Coast." She began singing blues and jazz with her father, jazz pianist Chuck Wilder, before classical training at the Berklee School of Music in Boston. After broadening her musicial perspective in India, Ireland and Southeast Asia, Emily has spent the past few years performing on the left coast at various cafes, music halls and festivals, including the Oregon Country Fair, Freedom Fest, Bumbershoot and others. During this period, she has collaborated with various artists on studio projects and is currently in the process of recording her debut. Emily is a strikingly beautiful and passionate musician whose combination of insightful lyrics and intimate performing style has captured a growing local audience. |
