Artist History
Cygnus 61 was founded in 1997. It had been working on new songs and compositions for one year, after that period, the band began to play in several bars and pop parties in Caracas, Venezuela. The first Cygnus 61 project, named The Crystal Lands, is a story about two persons' life from its begining until its end, a conceptual album. There are 15 songs. The first one is an introduction, when the characters were born. The following seven songs are about Eric's Life and it is named Falling Stars. The next six ones are regarding Madelean's Life, named White Tales. Finally, the last one is their encounter in another and different life, a life in The Crystal Lands. Now, Cygnus 61 is working in their second album, named "Orphans From Cytron", again, a conceptual project. In this case, The Story is about the 2777's Earth, and its encounter with some strangers who are leaving their dying planet to get salvation for their life. But maybe, The earth it is not the best planet to choose... Maybe... |
