Artist description The Downtown Music Lab is a non-profit after school recording studio and music center for all interested 8th to 12th grade students, encompassing all levels of talent and experience. At the lab, students learn how to write, record, and perform their own music. Students benefit from instruction, the professional staff, and meeting other students who share their interes in music.

Artist History The Downtown music Lab has been producing positive work since the summer of 1999, here in Roanoke, VA. Very soon, the lab plans to expand to other cities.

Group Members Staff: Ed Walker, Charlie Hamill, Sharifah Masten & Erich Tucker.Members: Too many to name all of them. Those appearing on the lab's first CD, "Sisters and Brothers" are Armed Forces, Alicia Jackson, Josh Vermillion, James Woolwine, Sanela Vugdalic, Fhat Rob, Bobby Cole, Stevette Jones, Sound & Fury, Donny Smith, Route 19, Janell Prunty, Joe & Sam Lunsford and Erika Hobson.
