Artist History
Started off as a joke between Shocker, Dump Truck and Bucket. Shortly after Y2JD came on board as our drummer with N0Deal showing up on vocals. |

2000/06/16 -- Totem signs Y2JD as their latest drummer. Their former drummer, Ricky 2-Sticks, died of a heroin overdose at the age of 25 earlier this year. 2000/07/05 -- Totem signs a singer: N0DeaL. 2000/07/16 -- Totem breaks through with the "Blue". The fredericton based band "Totem" is starting to gain popularity with the punk underground scene in Western New Brunswick. At 6:45am on July 16th, 2000 a copy of Trippin (which was leaked to the public 2 days before) was heard being played by the DJs at the Labbatt 24 Hour Relay. This is the 1st time the bands music has been officially played on the air to a public audience. Approximately 1000 people were at the venue at the time of the airing. Bucket and Shocker of Totem were at the Labbatt relay in support of charity and were quoted shortly after the song aired as saying "What a great song to wake up to..." |
