Artist description
Some dudes, some instruments and good old fashion music. Okay so the old fashioned part is kind of in accurate. Well old is a relative term so if you are like 3 or 4 years old I guess it could be considered old fashioned... wait, what was I talking about again?

Artist History
June 26th, 1975. The ego trip is born in Oakland, Calfornia. The gensis for so much of how Jeff approaches music started early in his life. Jeff and his brother and sister would sit in the living room of a small 3 bedroom home in San Lorenzo, Ca and sing along to the songs of the Beatles as strummed by their father. As with all good musicians who hope to one day be on VH1's Behind the Music tragedy, codependency and various other events and neuroses have shaped the music and lives of these musicians. This is all boring to them and there is much more to what the Jeff August Ego Trip is. Jeff classifies his music as a celebration of life, death and everything in between. But as they say in Conan the Barbarian, and Conan the Destroyer.... "That is another story." For now, We are content to let the music speak for itself. |
