Artist History
The band used to be legends here in Glenview. Everyone either hated them and their drunken antics with a furious passion, or loved them with just as much enthusiasm. But alas, there are doubts as to weather or not they will ever even play a final show. They released a tape called "Why Johnny Can't Concentrate", they released a Cd called "Leggo My Ego" (which was their legacy), they were featured on the Funded by Mom tape sampler, the "Everything Offbeat" comp vol. 2, and the "Glenview Hardcore LP Comp" (which can be purchased through e-mail for $5), as well as the now super rare live split with New Left Standard. |

Additional Info
If you care at all, there are many bands that feature members of the New Jacks. Chauncey, The Shores Of..., La Mantra De Fhiqria, Shameless, Skullface, Fucking Glenview Youth Onslaught Quartet, New Left Standard (briefly) and too many other bands have featured members of the New Jacks. Surprisingly, for almost all of those bands, the featured member was Tim Murphy, who played trombone with New Jacks from beggining to end. |
