Artist description
A fine trio creating a sweet acoustic sound that both jams funky and chunky, yet delivers an inspirational sound to drive the music home to mama. Vocal harmonies, not-so-polite acoustic, melodic bass lines, and tasty drum chops with flare. Ahhh, VERY refreshing. |

Press Reviews
Band uses talent, not gimmicks (Purdue Exponent, April 23, 1998) A local Lafayette band has realized something that other national bands have forgotten. In order to produce a great CD, they need to let the music speak for itself. No gimmicks, no commercialization needed. Just real music. Comprised of three Lafayette locals, Chris Moseman, Cale Reese, and Rich Lackowski, Lint doesn't tamper with its sound by flashy means to try and sell its product. The CD is all them, no fancy vocalizations done by an echoing machine. Lint has plenty of talent and need not rely on the glamour of a studio to adjust its sound... ... Lint's music is the kind of music that should be played at college parties because the music will sound the same way it will on the CD. It is a kind of music that is there to relax and set the stage for students to have a good time. CD's have lost the essence of live music since technology has provided opportunities for mixing and arranging. These opportunities cheat the listener. Lint doesn't cheat anyone. The music satisfies listeners and will demand attention. The only fault of Lint's CD is that it stops short at eight songs. It will most likely leave the listeners crying for more.
