Artist History
Erika's orchestra is her trusty Yamaha PSR9000 PRO Workstation. When people hear the beautiful saxophone, they cannot believe this has come from a keyboard. She has a wealth of songs and instrumentals to her credit and so far has produced three albums.
Her début album, "All Part Of The Seduction" was recorded in 1999 and released in 2000. It features 15 tracks, ranging from jazz to pop, all of which are original.
Her second album, "Guitar Electric" is entirely instrumental. Erika loves the acoustic guitar and uses the combined sounds of guitar, saxophone, flute, oboe and strings, to create pseudo-classical pieces grouped together in suites.
Her second vocal album, "Cliché", was released in May 2001. All 15 tracks are original and she has developed a distinctive vocal and instrumental sound which will appeal to those who love the sultry late night jazz feel. Heer latest vocal album, "Bitter Sweet", features 16 brand new tracks, all of which bear the hallmark of the sultry Redwood sound. Erika has been concentrating on developing her talents as a recording artist and she has found the Internet a great asset in reaching a wide audience. Recently, she has started collaborating with other artists over the Internet, playhing on their songs - a sort of cyber session musician. What are her plans for the future? To keep on writing and producing music for others to enjoy.
