Artist description
Six-Piece band from North Carolina. Their innovative music combines traditional elements of folk, bluegrass and country in a highly charge rock context.
They write original songs with an undeniable southern flavor; they perform these songs on a diverse and colorful pallet of instruments that includes mandolin, dobro,
lap steel, harmonica, electric and acoustic guitars, bass drums and vocals.
The critics have praised EGB for being a nice blend of sing-song writer sensiblities and a jam band.
EGB has toured and played with such acts as James Taylor, Widespread Panic, Train, Tony Rice and Peter Rowan,
Derek Trucks Band (of the Allman Brothers), David Allen Coe, Robert Bradley and the Black Water Surprise, etc. |
