Artist History Chopqper wrote is first song in 1977 at the age of 5. He learned to play organ, trumpet, trombone and piano before switching to tbe bass guitar at age 15. He formed his first rock band at 16 and began playing jazz professionally at 19. By age 21 he worked the graveyard shift at a truckstop and played bass in a heavy metal band in Dallas, and drums in the legendary country/punk band Cornhole. He gave up both bands to move to DC and join Vertical Horizon. He toured and recorded with that band for over three years, before leaving to move back to Texas where he started Kissinger. He spent two years recording the first Kissinger CD, Charm, due out this fall, and has since written much new material that the band has yet to record.
