Artist History VERTIGO formed in September 1999, and began writing original material in a variety influences including Jeff Buckley, Al Green, The Charlatans, The Doors and New Order. Over the last two years they have honed and built themselves a unique sound, early songs like ‘Red Plush’ and ‘Widescreen Lullaby’ remain regulars in VERTIGO’s live set, whilst the band's song writing has gone from strength to strength, recent work includes the widely acclaimed tracks 'Deletia' and '1:1.618'. A list of highly successful gigs in and around Southampton and Winchester has helped build a loyal fan base, who have supported the band at their London showcases. VERTIGO record and produce their own work, which to date has included the debut long play, 'Never be a Genius' and the recent extended play "1:1.618" both available at local record stores and online at VERTIGO’s website. The band are currently seeking management and a recording contract.
