Artist description
The TEMPLE OF HATE is not a racist or sexist group. We are not a religious group nor a political party. We are an occult metal band interested in free thinking, the occult, the underground, vampires, death, mysticism, religion, politics, society, and change. Some call us a thrash metal band. Others call us goth-metal. Our music contains the dark overtones of gothic music, but still embraces the thick, heavy, guitar driven sounds of heavy metal. Our message is simple: This world is fucked up and we need to fix it. We hate everything that is fucked up. |

Artist History
Temple OF Hate was born unto the world for domination on Dec. 15, 1999. The band has experienced many lineup changes--especially with singers and guitar players--however, the core of the band has remained in tack from the start with Preston, Dave and Rick. In April 2000 TEMPLE OF HATE recorded its first demo entitled GRAVE DAY at Burnt Chrome Recording studios. However, feeling pressured to record and release a full length album, with some newer material, the band headed into Full Well Studio with engineer Mike Bolenbach and producer Blake Van Vliet, where they recorded their debut album entitled THE FEAR WITHIN. The cd was release this year on Feb. 17th, 2001 and is currently out in stores. The band has also welcomed the recent addition of Josh Ellis--guitar player and backup vocalist--and in the future the band plans to continue touring and promoting THE FEAR WITHIN. |
