Artist description
From the pits and the hollows of a dark suburbian basement, a band of psychos broke free from their jackets, and their padded cells. Armed with their tools of destruction, a mix of terroristic vocals and punishing, in your face guitar riffs. |

Press Reviews
Have you seen the public service ad in which Little Johnny cruises around the neighborhood on his skateboard, then hooks up with a buddy and sneaks behind a bush to take a toke? The anti-drug message is meant to drive home the notion that the 'burbs can be just as dangerous for adolescent development as the inner-city 'hoods. Along these lines is Strate Jak It, a band that shows that a bad attitude matched with a seething, muscular attack can be menacing even if you hail from Cottage Grove. The six-piece's EP "The Padded Cell" is a voracious, blood-dripping, lumbering, and angry discourse on what ails them. Thrashing out against politics, deception, crime, poverty, and those folks that generally perturb Strate Jak It, the seven-song disc rolls with an intensity that should find a welcome home with fans of Limp Bizkit, Korn, and the like. -Vicki Casey: Mpls.
