Artist description Bryle, Clark, Kolins, & Randel formed Spot The Cat in 1997 to fuse the members' love of pop, rock, and prog-rock. The songs composed by Randel and Clark are tuneful and harmonic, with a sound built on, rather than cloned from, the bands' influences.

Artist History Back in their youth in upstate New York, drummer Brian Kolins and singer and songwriter Jon Randel played together in numerous bands. Randel and bassist Dave Clark later played together in the NYC-based "Pookie," recording master tapes produced by studio guitar legend Dave Spinoza for an album that, unfortunately, was never released. Randel and guitarist Danny Bryle later formed Low Media High and, with Kolins joining later, performed at NYC venues like The China Club and The Bitter End. From the remnants of these bands, Spot The Cat was born in 1997.
