Artist History
Back in their youth in upstate New York, drummer Brian Kolins and singer and songwriter Jon Randel played together in numerous bands. Randel and bassist Dave Clark later played together in the NYC-based "Pookie," recording master tapes produced by studio guitar legend Dave Spinoza for an album that, unfortunately, was never released. Randel and guitarist Danny Bryle later formed Low Media High and, with Kolins joining later, performed at NYC venues like The China Club and The Bitter End. From the remnants of these bands, Spot The Cat was born in 1997. |
