Artist description Irish instrumental - Steve West and Frank Welch have been playing together for 20 years as session leaders and buskers. Gerry Mckee of Cork, Ireland joins them on this reunion album of the original members of the Smokin' Shamrocks.

Artist History The band started in 1984 when Gerry moved to Chicago. Mostly we busked and played in west-side bars.We suggested and started the session at the Abbey Pub,(They literally didn't know what a session was),only to be brushed aside after it became a huge sucess.A very similar situation occurred at Celtic Crossings about 10 years later.Our unique style and unwillingness to compromise has gained us many fans but obviously scares bar owners.
