Artist description In the winter of 1994, was born, in Rio de Janeiro-Brazil, the band "Malefactor". Its sonorous atmospherebrought soon the name "Quintessence", expressing exactly the band's thematic.Fastly, the initial sketches took form, always with the purpose of creating a competent Doom Metal, filled up with variations and influenced by any Metal styles.Through all its musical magic celebrated in poetry, thoughts and dreams, Quintessence is looking for, beyond balance, the mistic and astral studies in its lyrics.Its first work, entitled "Lonely Seas of a Dreamer" (recorded in July/August 1999), contains five owncompositions, consolidating the wandered way tilltoday.
